New Line Features Leather Palms, Moisture Control

VAN NUYS, Calif. (April XX, 2009) – Easton Sports, the leading designer and manufacturer of sporting goods, today unveiled two additions to its 2010 line of batting gloves – the Stealth Speed and SV12 Pro.

Used by all of Easton’s Major Leaguers, the Stealth Speed features a seamless one-piece palm constructed with Easton’s exclusive Pittard’s Diamond Cabretta leather. With a smooth Cabretta sheepskin leather palm, the SV12 Pro batting gloves also include an extra layer of palm leather for durability.

“Every Big League ball player I’ve spoken with loves these gloves, and we’re expecting the same response from consumers,” said Matt Arndt, senior vice president of Easton’s baseball/softball division. “From the sheepskin leather palm to the moisture control, the Stealth Speed and SV12 not only guarantee performance, but they pass the comfort test.”

Both the Stealth Speed and SV12 Pro feature moisture control via a breathable mesh for the Stealth Speed and Lycra® in the SV12 Pro, guaranteeing maximum flex and comfort for both. Additionally, both tout a pre-curved finger design which fits the natural contour of the hand. The Stealth Speed will be offered in five color schemes and the SV12 Pro in nine.

The 2010 Stealth Speed and SV12 Pro hitting gloves will be available in all major sporting goods stores beginning May 2009.
