Technologies
-
Carbon Nanotube Technology, made possible by Zyvex Nanosolve™, enhances Easton’s proprietary resin system providing unmatched durability in our composite bat and handle designs.
-
EASTON’S® patented ConneXion™ Design System optimizes performance using “hinge” technology for efficient energy transfer. CXN® technology also isolates the handle from the barrel, eliminating vibration and expanding the hitting surface of the barrel.
-
BBCOR stands for Bat-Ball-Coefficient of Restitiution. THis new rule is designed to make non-wood bats even more wood-like in their performance. All BBCOR bats can be easily identified by the BBCOR mark.
-
Patented Integrated Matrix Technology™ strengthens composite structures, optimizing designs, process and materials for maximum performance. Aerospace grade fibers are layered and angled to maximize hitting area, provide extraordinary feel, and eliminate vibration.
-
EASTON’S® laser precision manufacturing system minimizes material overlap, removing excess mass from the barrel for lighter MOI and faster swing speeds.

Price Value Quality Ok...here's the deal: Before BBCOR, my son was getting close to putting it over the fence. Then came BBCOR and it seemed like he would never get there again...until - this AMAZING bat from Easton. His friend let him use in in a game a couple weeks ago and POW! First home run (a Grandslam at that!). We went down to Scheels and drooled over this bat - but it is VERY pricy. Ok - so I guess you get what you pay for....we bite the bullet and get one. 2 more homers so far and counting!! If you are getting close to the fence and need that extra little umph - GET THIS BAT!!!

- The Best
-
Price Value Quality my son has had the CF5, Nike, M2M,Rip it prototype 2 and the Easton XL3. The S1 is by far the best bat. Expensive, but in this case worth it

- this bat is great and made for hitters with fast hands.
-
Price Value Quality pros: this bat is a two piece composite that has lots of pop like besr.
cons: the bat is easy to crack if you use in cold tempatures and over use it by letting your whole team use it so i suggest you use your own bat. and tell other people no.
other wise this bat is outstanding.Review by kamron (Posted on 4/7/12)

- HORRIBLE
-
Value Quality Price I got this bat after i had the S2 stiff flex (because i had cracked that one within 1 week) so i figured a total composite would be a little stronger and better than a comp-alloy.. i was wrong.. literally in my first at bat i squared one up and i got a crack in the composite barrel toward the handle. i will never buy easton bats again. i have went through 2, $300 bats literally within 1.5 months. mine-as-well use wood.

- best one left

Value Quality Price Had the Rip It 33 last year, banned it. Had the Marucci Cat5 33 this year, banned it. Both were better than the S1. Tried several bats since including the CF5 and Prototype 2 and the S1 is the best one out there not banned YET. Get over the end cap. If it's the best performing legal bat out there, who cares. Paint it pink and glue glitter to the end cap for all I care. Price is high when you compare it to BESR performance but we're in the BBCOR world now. 2011 Ripit and Cat5 get 5 stars.

Value Quality Price bats has lots of pop and sounds like wood. Already hit one homerun in 3 games. it puts the Rip-Its, 51-50 velos, and omen to shame.

Price Value Quality Sounds great, great pop, and an all-around great bat. Could be cheaper, but otherwise the best BBCOR bat on the market.

- Awesome

Price Value Quality The s1 is what I think is the best bbcor bat on the market. Though the price is a little more expensive then other bats the quality for that price is pretty good. Compared to the s2 the weight is distributed throughout the bat and it's not top heavy. I would recommend this bat for transitioning from a -10 13u bat to a -3 14U bat. Overall this is one of the best quality bats I've seen.

Quality Price Value Easton claimed that along with these bats came new endcaps. That was the biggest serving of bull I ever heard. I ordered this bat blindly and read that the end cap was nothing more than a sticker on the old end caps they used to manufacture. Dont believe me, go to your local sport authority or dicks sporting goods and check out the endcap...fiddle with E logo and you'll see it easily comes out. Shame on you Easton for false ad's....the most I would be willing to pay for this bat after finding this out would be 200 tops. But with some bad comes good.....overall it gives above average performance but not as good the rip it prototype II I hear....

Price Value Quality i really like the bat i got a chance to swing it at the little league world series. i was surprised at how it feels like a wood bat in the sense of there was no trampoline effect ,but it has the extra power like a metal bat should.
